SEC Approves Enhanced NYSE and Nasdaq Compensation Committee Listing Standards

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has approved amendments to the corporate governance and listing standards of the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Stock Market relating to the independence, authority and responsibilities of compensation committees of listed issuers. The NYSE and Nasdaq proposed the enhanced listing standards in response to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Pryor Cashman Corporate Counsel Michael T.
