Partner Richard Levy Speaks About Compensating Victims of Business Fraud
Partner Richard Levy Jr., Chair of Pryor Cashman’s Bankruptcy, Reorganization and Creditors’ Rights Group, was one of the speakers on March 18, 2010, at Syracuse University College of Law’s 2010 Spring Lecture on How Victims Can Be Compensated: Bankruptcies, Receiverships and Forfeiture Actions.
This was the third lecture in Syracuse University College of Law’s year-long series which has been devoted to White Collar Crime & Punishment: Lessons from Madoff and the New Era of Enforcement.
Levy and his co-presenter, Ellen Zimiles, CEO of Daylight Forensic & Advisory, LLC, discussed how the different substantive and procedural frameworks of bankruptcy, receivership and forfeiture proceedings affect recovery by victims of business frauds.
