Pryor Cashman Celebrates Transgender Visibility Day 2021
Founded in 2009 by transgender activist Rachel Crandall, Transgender Day of Visibility is intended to raise awareness and celebrate the lives of members of the transgender community. According to the Human Rights Campaign: "International Trans Day of Visibility, [held] annually on March 31, International Transgender Day of Visibility is a time to celebrate transgender and non-binary people around the globe and acknowledge the courage it takes to live openly and authentically. Advocates also use the day to raise awareness around discrimination and violence that trans people still face."
Pryor Cashman stands with human rights advocates and our transgender friends and family. Today, we celebrate the achievements of those in the transgender and non-binary community and join the call for increased awareness of transgender and non-binary issues.
