Pryor Cashman Represents Indenture Trustee in Gibson Brands Bankruptcy

Pryor Cashman has been retained to represent Wilmington Trust, National Association as successor trustee and collateral agent to $375M of senior secured notes in the bankruptcy case of Gibson Brands, Inc.

Gibson Brands is the world-famous designer, manufacturer and distributor of guitars and other musical instruments, as well as audio equipment. On May 1, 2018, Gibson Brands and 11 affiliated debtors filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The cases are pending before the Honorable Christopher S. Sontchi, and the debtors have requested that their cases be jointly administered under Case No. 18-11025.

Leading the representation from Pryor Cashman are Partners Seth H. Lieberman and Patrick Sibley, and Counsel Marie Polito Hofsdal, members of the firm’s Bankruptcy, Reorganization + Creditors’ Rights Group.

In 2018 alone, Lieberman and Sibley are representing indenture trustees in many of the largest bankruptcy cases, including FirstEnergy Solutions Corp., Southeastern Grocers, LLC, iHeartMedia, Inc., Claire’s Stores, Inc., EXCO Resources, Inc. and Cenveo, Inc.
