Jamie successfully opposed a request for a preliminary injunction brought by General Patent Corporation, Inc. against clients Wi-LAN, Inc., a publicly traded Canadian corporation, and its wholly owned subsidiary, Gladios IP Inc. Within two days after the completion of the preliminary injunction hearing, a federal judge vacated a temporary restraining order that had prevented the former GPC general counsel from working for Gladios and denied the request for injunctive relief.
