Peter Reca is a member of Pryor Cashman’s Immigration Group, where he handles a wide range of immigrant and nonimmigrant matters.
He has particular expertise with O-1 and EB-1 petitions for foreign nationals of extraordinary ability in the fashion, arts, and entertainment industries. Peter has worked with celebrity clients as well as numerous top-ranked domestic and international talent management companies, often assisting with extremely time-sensitive matters to enable talent to travel to the U.S. for sudden work engagements.
In addition to his extensive work with these types of clients, Peter also has considerable experience counseling clients in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries. He has a proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive processes that support the timely filing of O-1 and EB-1 petitions for research scientists and physicians. Notably, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and accompanying travel restrictions and U.S. Embassy shutdowns, Peter successfully facilitated the transfer of a client’s top scientific and managerial talent into the U.S. to assume key roles in developing and manufacturing COVID-19 therapeutics and vaccines.
While in law school, Peter served as a judicial intern for Judge Karla Moskowitz of the New York Supreme Court and worked with the Fordham University School of Law Immigrant Rights Clinic.
