NYSE and Nasdaq Propose Enhanced Compensation Committee Listing Standards

On September 25, 2012, the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Stock Market proposed amendments to their corporate governance listing standards relating to the independence, authority and responsibilities of compensation committees of listed issuers. The NYSE and Nasdaq proposed the enhanced listing standards in response to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Pryor Cashman Corporate Counsel Michael T.
