Pulman Spoke on Recent Cases on Investment in Content Industry Panel
Pryor Cashman Partner Simon Pulman, co-chair of the Media + Entertainment and Film, TV + Podcast Groups, spoke on a panel at the U-KNOCK 2024 in Las Vegas hosted by Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).
Simon participated in the panel titled “Recent Cases on Investment in Content Industry - IP Rights and Business Expansion & Format Localization,” alongside Global TV Agent Kara Petit from Creative Artists Agency. The panel covered recent trends in international co-productions and rights deals, and how Korean producers can retain rights and meaningfully participate in upside in success. Simon discussed Pryor Cashman’s recent work in the space representing both US and Korean companies. The panel was moderated by Producer Sebastian Lee, known for his work on Apple TV's Pachinko, ABC’s The Good Doctor, and USA Network’s Suits.
