2018 AILA Employer Compliance & Worksite Enforcement Conference
On August 10, 2018, Partner Avram Morell will be a featured speaker at the American Immigration Lawyers Association's (AILA) Employer Compliance & Worksite Enforcement Conference.
Anytime an employer engages with an employee or potential employee regarding an immigration benefit or status, an employment law component comes into play. From the hiring process, to maintenance of the nonimmigrant population, to termination, employment law issues exist that immigration practitioners must be aware of and understand. Morell's panel, "The Intersection of Employment and Immigration Law," will identify and analyze the employment law issues attorneys need to manage when counseling clients.
