Advanced Corporate Immigration Law Conference
Avram Morell, a member of Pryor Cashman's Immigration Group, will be a speaker at the Advanced Corporate Immigration Law Conference, to be held Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at The Newark Club in Newark, NJ.
Established employment-based immigration procedures may face significant changes as the House of Representatives debates the Senate Bill passed on June 6, 2013. The Senate Bill contains important changes to Border Security Measures, outlines an expedited Path to Citizenship, adds several new types of visas, alters several existing caps on visas, and mandates that employers implement the E-Verify Program. It still remains unclear which of these reforms, if any, will be enacted within the next few months. This program will provide guidance on how attorneys and employers can best prepare for these proposed changes.
Morell, whose experience includes a wide range of areas of immigration and nationality law, will moderate a panel on the following:
- Legislative and Regulatory Changes
- RFE and Denial Templates: What do they teach us?
- Individuals of Extraordinary Ability; Outstanding Researchers and National Interest Waivers
- Demystifying EB-5 Investor Visas
- FY-2014 Visa Bulletin Projections
