Emily Demetree is a member of Pryor Cashman’s Litigation Group.

Emily is an experienced litigator specializing in civil and commercial litigation involving business disputes. She represents clients in matters involving breach of contract, partnership disputes, fraud, FDUTPA claims, tortious interference, and other business torts. She has tried bench and jury cases, argued substantive and evidentiary motions, taken and defended depositions, and authored complex motions. Emily also has experience advocating in private arbitration.

Before joining Pryor Cashman, Emily worked for a private business firm and previously served as an Assistant Public Defender in Miami, where she managed a substantial caseload as lead counsel and provided written and oral advocacy in hearings and trials. Her experience in both the public and private sectors has equipped her with a deep understanding of the legal system and a commitment to strong advocacy for her clients.
