Elizabeth Fei Chen, a Partner and member of Pryor Cashman’s Corporate and China Practice Groups, spoke at the DealFlow Media’s The Reverse Merger Conference held at W Hotel New York Union Square on Tuesday, June 5, 2012.

In 2011, statements by the SEC and the PCAOB addressed concerns about reverse merger companies. In November 2011, the SEC, in response to requests from the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq, set more rigorous listing standards for companies that have completed reverse mergers. The Reverse Merger Conference addressed these new regulations and how the new one year seasoning period will affect the market.

Now in its 8th year, The Reverse Merger Conference is the premier event for serious professionals in the business of alternative IPO transactions, featuring technical training on the latest issues relating to reverse mergers, self-underwriting, and other alternative routes to the public market.

Chen spoke on the panel on “How to Complete a Successful Reverse Merger in the Current Environment,” covering such topics as the current environment for reverse merger for companies including those from China, critical components to Reverse Merger Success and reasons that reverse mergers are still a compelling vehicle for going public.
