Pryor Cashman Client SPOT Canine Club Acquired by AKC Pet Care

On June 26, 2017, Pryor Cashman client SPOT Canine Club (SPOT), a provider of premium pet care services in New York City, was acquired by AKC Pet Care LLC, an affiliate of the American Kennel Club.

As part of the transaction, AKC Pet Care purchased all of SPOT’s Manhattan facilities, which included locations in Tribeca, Chelsea, the Upper West Side, Midtown West and the Upper East Side, as well as spaces in two luxury residential buildings’ onsite amenities areas.

In a press release announcing the deal, Dennis Sprung, President and CEO of AKC Pet Care stated, “SPOT Canine Club is a well-respected brand in the pet care space. We are excited to expand our business and create a strong foundation on which we can continue to provide the best-in-class pet care.”

AKC Pet Care will invest in the existing locations to update them into industry-leading facilities.
