Itai Raz (Ee-tye Rahz) is a member of Pryor Cashman’s Litigation Group, Hotel + Hospitality, and Real Estate Litigation practice, where he represents clients in a range of complex disputes.

Itai provides legal counsel and advisement to a wide variety of clients across the real estate and hospitality industry. He regularly guides clients through complex commercial agreements and disputes and develops thoughtful and strategic solutions to achieve his clients’ business goals. His clients include owners and managers of hotels and restaurants, individuals and entities involved in real estate investing and financing, and more.

Since serving as a Pryor Cashman summer associate in 2016, Itai's practice has grown to focus on commercial contract disputes, negotiations related to hotel and restaurant management agreements, and developing comprehensive legal strategies for the betterment of his client's business endeavors. He has also successfully litigated intellectual property issues, including trademark and copyright infringement claims and actions brought under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA).

Academic Achievements

Itai graduated cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review and the Dispute Resolution Society’s International Mediation team.

While in law school, he interned with the Honorable John G. Koeltl and Honorable Cathy Seibel of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He also previously worked as a diary secretary for The Right Honourable Tom Brake MP in the U.K. Parliament.

Pro Bono Work

Committed to pro bono work, Itai has worked with Her Justice to represent low-income women in matters related to child custody and child support; in 2023, he received the “Commitment to Justice Award” for his work with the organization. While in law school, he participated in the Fordham Law Immigrant Preparedness Project, where he conducted workshops for immigrant teenagers and their parents covering immigrant rights and resources.
