Jared Lopez is a partner in Pryor Cashman’s Litigation Group and White Collar + Regulatory Enforcement Practice, where he represents companies and individuals in complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts and in arbitrations across the country.
He also advises and defends clients in federal white-collar investigations and government enforcement matters, bringing a trial-ready, strategic approach to high-stakes problems.
With more than 25 years of litigation experience, Jared draws on a background that spans both government and private practice, including service as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice and six years as the managing partner and head of civil litigation at a nationally recognized Miami law firm. He is a first-chair litigator who has handled matters involving allegations of fraud, misrepresentation, defamation, and consumer protection violations—often where the facts are sensitive, the exposure is significant, and reputations are on the line.
Jared has represented multinational corporations, closely held businesses, and high-profile individuals across a range of industries, including media and entertainment, insurance, healthcare, and professional sports.
In government service, he prosecuted cases involving money laundering, public corruption, financial crimes and asset forfeitures, taking multiple matters to trial. He began his legal career with the U.S. Department of the Treasury in Washington, D.C.
