Pryor Cashman client Moody Tongue Brewing Company has opened their second New York restaurant, Moody Tongue Pizza, in New York City’s East Village.

The firm worked with the Chicago-based company on the lease for the space located at 123 St. Marks Place. The new restaurant occupies a 2,200-square-foot space and features an a la carte menu of Tokyo-Neapolitan pizzas from Executive Pizza Chef Vincenzo Santoro as well as Japanese-inspired dishes. The opening of Moody Tongue Pizza, which underscores the company's continued expansion in New York, was recently featured in the New York Business Journal.

This marks the second New York City lease that Pryor Cashman has handled for Moody Tongue. The firm previously represented the company in securing the lease for Moody Tongue Sushi, located at 150 West 10th Street in the West Village.

In its announcement about the new restaurant, Moody Tongue CEO John Cohn said:

"We are thrilled to join the East Village neighborhood, which not only has a history of renowned restaurants and bars, but also a number of wonderful new restaurants which have opened in particular over the last few years that push creative culinary boundaries.”

The deal was led by Pryor Cashman Real Estate Partner Ronald B. Kremnitzer, co-chair of the firm’s Restaurant, Food + Beverage Group.
