Shelby Amato is a member of Pryor Cashman’s Real Estate Litigation Group.

Shelby earned her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School, where she served on the Moot Court Board and was Vice President of the Legal Association of Women. She also served on the editorial board of the Journal of Energy and Environmental Law and was a student attorney in the Health Equity Policy & Advocacy Clinic where she assisted clients to obtain safe and affordable housing.

Prior to joining Pryor Cashman, Shelby interned with AARP’s Legal Counsel for the Elderly, where she supported estate litigation, drafted appellate briefs and benefits applications, and conducted research on healthcare and administrative law.
