Soloway Named a 2024 Crain’s NY Business Notable Leader in Real Estate
Pryor Cashman Partner Todd Soloway, co-chair of the Litigation Group, chair of the Hotel + Hospitality Group and Real Estate Litigation Practice, and member of the firm’s Executive Committee, has been named to Crain’s New York Business’ 2024 Notable Leaders in Real Estate list. This is the fourth year in a row he has been included on the list.
In its 2024 Notable Leaders profile of Todd, Crain’s highlighted one of Todd’s career wins, where he “led a trial team that represented Virgin Hotels in asserting claims for wrongful termination of the long-term hotel management agreement one year after opening, which led to an award of $11.5 million in damages.”
In addition to his work with Virgin Hotels, Todd also secured a major victory in New York State Supreme Court in Albany for BLDG Management, a New York City-based real estate investment and management company, regarding a lawsuit by the New York City Comptroller. Facing a $40 million claim from the NYC Comptroller Brad Lander under the old 421-a affordable housing/tax abatement program, Soloway was successful in having the enforcement provisions of the statute declared Unconstitutional – a major victory for Lloyd Goldman and his company.
