  • Evaluate B visas for tourists and business visitors, the visa waiver program, and the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA)

  • Ascertain the basic contours of the H-1B, E, L, O, P and TN work visa categories
  • Differentiate consular processing from change of status

Avi also is the co-author of a chapter in Basic Immigration Law 2024: Business, Family, Naturalization, and Related Areas, the course handbook for the event. Avi and Lepore Taylor Fox LLP Partner Rosanna M. Fox co-wrote the “Overview of Key Concepts in Nonimmigrant Visa Practice” chapter, which focuses on “the distinction between three key concepts: visa foil, visa status, and visa classification.”
