Known for his innovative counsel and deep knowledge of financial instruments, Larry helps clients structure creative solutions to address complex financing challenges. For example, he advised on the development of a novel means of securitizing pharmaceutical royalty cash flows known as Securitized Unregistered Bio-Technology Limited Enhanced™ units.

Larry’s notable transactions include:

  • Advising on the conceptualization, development and consummation of the first multinational, multijurisdictional investment company syndicated and agented credit facility
  • Advising the sole lender in a $85 million facility to a pool of real estate assets issued by U.S. and foreign issuers
  • Negotiating multiple technology licensing agreements for a leading biotechnology company
  • Structuring off-balance-sheet studio financing for a renewable slate of films
  • Providing startup counsel to the New Ventures Fund I, a biotech private equity fund that invests in late-stage biotechnology companies

Larry also serves in numerous director and board positions within the life sciences space, including CytoDel, Inc., an early stage bio-pharmaceutical company developing products for bio-defense, neuronal drug delivery, and musculoskeletal and aesthetic medicine; Aufbau Holdings Limited, an Irish limited company, developing therapeutics in ophthalmology and other areas; and Atossa Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: ATOS), a company developing therapies for breast cancer.
