On April 4, 2018, Pryor Cashman client TriSpan Rising Stars LP, an independent private-equity platform focusing on growth investing in the global restaurant sector, acquired New York-based restaurant chain Rosa Mexicano from Goode Partners LLC. This purchase follows TriSpan’s significant investment in Miami-based Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in October 2017.

Pryor Cashman provided representation on numerous aspects of the transaction, including structuring, due diligence financing, real estate and corporate matters.

In a press statement announcing the deal, TriSpan Partner Jessica Mornelli said, “We are thrilled to complete this purchase and look forward to working with this talented management team to further enhance the brand and add dynamic new locations to the group. The current management team will remain in place.”

Founded in 1984 in New York City and offering regional Mexican cuisine, Rosa Mexicano has expanded to Boston, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. as well as to the National Harbor development in Maryland and the Riverside Square development in Hackensack, N.J.
