Tulane Law School’s Intersession 2026
Pryor Cashman Partner Shane Stroud, Chair of the Executive Compensation, ERISA + Employee Benefits Practice, served as a guest faculty member for Tulane Law School’s Intersession 2026, “Introduction to the Practice of Transactional Law,” which was held in New Orleans from January 5 through January 9, 2026. This is the ninth year Shane has been a guest faculty member for this innovative program.
Participating 2Ls and 3Ls played the role of buyer’s counsel in the context of an asset purchase transaction, giving them practical insight as to how such a transaction unfolds, from the negotiation and signing of a letter of intent through the negotiation of a purchase agreement. Shane played the role of the partner running the deal for buyer’s counsel during the session.
