sbe Entertainment Remaining Interest Sold to AccorHotels

Pryor Cashman's client, sbe Entertainment Group, sold the company's remaining fifty percent interest to Paris-based AccorHotels. sbe Entertainment Group, a privately held lifestyle hospitality company that develops, manages and operates hotels, residences, restaurants and nightclubs, is the owner of major hospitality brands including SLS, Delano, Mondrian, Hyde, Katsuya and Cleo. Pryor Cashman attorneys also advised the strategic sale of the company's first fifty percent interest to Paris-based AccorHotels in 2018.

The recent transaction was led by Executive Committee member and Hotel & Hospitality Chair Todd Soloway, and Corporate Group and M&A practice co-chair John Crowe, with support from partners Robert Lamonica (corporate), Michael Dunworth (tax), Jeffrey Johnson (intellectual property),  Dyan Finguerra-DuCharme (trademark), Teresa Lee (trademark), Shane Stroud (executive compensation, ERISA & employee benefits), and Phillippe Zylberg (intellectual property), along with counsel Matthew Young (executive compensation, ERISA & employee benefits) and Mollie Adam (corporate), Taylor Weinstein (tax), Maraiya Hakeem (corporate), Ryan Klarberg (intellectual property), Laure Sawaya (intellectual property), Vedad Tabich (Corporate) and Jesse Roth (intellectual Property).

Pryor Cashman previously advised sbe Entertainment Group in both the redevelopment of the former Diplomat Golf & Tennis Club in South Florida into SLS Resort Residence & Marina Hallandale Beach and the launch of C3 (Creating Culinary Communities), a platform intended to bring single operator, multi-branded solutions to food halls, ghost kitchens and mobile delivery.
