Pryor Cashman Client CBRE Group Signs Lease for Global Financial Headquarters in Midtown Manhattan
Pryor Cashman represented CBRE Group, Inc. in a leasing transaction for the company’s new Global Financial Headquarters at Lever House, 390 Park Avenue, in Midtown Manhattan. CBRE will lease 64,350 square feet of office space across six floors in the iconic building, further strengthening its financial presence in New York.
This lease marks a significant step in CBRE’s expansion, reflecting the company’s growth in investment management and its deeper ties to the capital markets. The space will house CBRE Investment Management’s headquarters and various corporate functions. Additionally, two floors will be dedicated to a flexible workspace managed by Industrious, providing a collaborative and scalable environment for senior executives.
CBRE expects to occupy the new location by the fourth quarter of 2025. CBRE’s chair and chief executive officer, Bob Sulentic, said of the space:
"Lever House is a premier address that will help us to attract top real estate finance talent. It's located in the heart of Midtown's financial district and is a convenient walk to 200 Park, which has been the hub of our New York operations for more than 30 years.”
CBRE was represented by Andrea R. Gendel, co-chair of Pryor Cashman’s Leasing Practice, and Associate Michael R. Kumar. Partner Dennis Sughrue and Associate James Dileo are working on the management agreement on behalf of CBRE adverse to Industrious for the flexible workspace.
