As new and increased regulations on capital securities have emerged in the wake of the global financial crisis, the need for specialized and sophisticated legal counsel has become paramount, particularly in the commercial real estate sphere.  Recognizing this reality, Commercial Property Executive (CPE) and Multi-Housing News (MHN) released their 2016 Leading Real Estate Law Firms rankings, naming Pryor Cashman as a top U.S. firm providing the highest quality legal services in this area.

CPE-MHN highlighted Pryor Cashman’s acumen in representing the owner of a prime NYC land parcel in a $700 million long-term ground lease to a publicly traded company for office and retail development.  The rankings also revealed that the firm’s partners have, on average, 29 years of experience practicing real estate law, more than 85% of the other awarded firms.

Pryor Cashman’s Real Estate Group is led by partners Wayne Heicklen and Ronald Kremnitzer.  To learn more about their work, please visit here

In evaluating law firms for their rankings, CPE employs a weighted formula based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the size and nature of a firm’s top deals, revenue and growth of the real estate practice.
